This is a demonstration of a SOAP service protected by a proposed Digest Authentication scheme. The service endpoint is made available by Simon Fell at 4s4c.com and uses a doc/literal form of the "echoString" operation. The WSDL document is found here. To access the service, use the UserID "guest", and the password "zia". Server nonces have a lifetime of 10 minutes. Mutual Authentication may be selected for any invocation. You may wish to monitor the actual request and response messages displayed below.
